This cookie starts with our Life-Changing Chocolate Chip, then follows a path we’ve been wanting to explore for a long time. Mochi is one of our favorite foods and textures, something we’re endlessly drawn to in mochi waffles and mochi-filled baked goods. We wanted to bring that same chew into a chocolate chip cookie.

Nutty brown butter forms the base, giving depth and richness, with crisp golden edges and soft-set, premium Guittard super cookie chips. A hint of mochi peeks through the top, inviting you in, while Maldon sea salt adds a delicate crunch that sharpens the sweetness. Crunchy, chewy, salty, and sweet, all at once. Familiar at first, then unmistakably different. This is our take on chocolate chip, guided by texture, memory, and intention.
